Project Description

The Tailoring Training Project by The Great Education Welfare Trust is dedicated to empowering women and young girls by providing professional stitching and garment-making skills that help them become self-reliant and financially independent.

This course offers practical training in basic to advanced tailoring techniques, including hand stitching, machine sewing, dress designing, cutting, measurement techniques, embroidery basics, blouse stitching, children’s wear, and modern fashion tailoring. Participants learn through hands-on practice guided by skilled trainers in a supportive learning environment.

Our mission is to create employment and self-employment opportunities for women by helping them start their own tailoring businesses, work in boutiques, or pursue careers in the fashion and garment industry.
